Mount Fuji stands majestically in the background, shrouded in mist and clouds.
The composition is an example of Hokusai's skill in playing with scale and creating striking depth in the image. The details of the trees and surrounding vegetation are finely executed, adding richness to the overall scene.
This masterpiece illustrates the spiritual connection between the Japanese people and Mount Fuji, considered sacred. Hokusai's work captures the majesty of Japanese nature and the admiration it instills in travelers and artists.
